You don’t have to be a fan of Cher, as I happen to be, to enjoy her memoir: Cher The Memoir, Part One<\/em><\/strong>. At 400+ pages, it is a lot of Cher in one place, but anyone who is a fan of Hollywood, music, old Hollywood glamour, or even a fan of the American dream, would appreciate and enjoy her memoir. To think that she knew the Rolling Stones when they were an opening act rather than the main event, and that her friends included Tina Turner, Lucille Ball, and Carol Burnett. Amazing. I found her determination and energy inspiring. She made mistakes and learned from them. Rather than dwelling on the past or feeling defeated, she picked up and started over wiser and even more determined.
