Caught in the middle, Malcolm discovers mini-golf by accident, and realizes he’s actually good at it. When Dad learns that there are mini-golf tournaments, they are both happy. Stress between his parents continues to rise, a past family secret comes to the surface, and a new friend gives Malcolm confidence all while he is preparing for a mini-golf tournament. In the end, Malcolm learns a lot about making hard choices, living up to others’ expectations, and being true to himself. A coming of age story for the sport enthusiast, One Last Shot is sure to please.
